Back in May Krylon flew me to Cleveland, Ohio to partner with them to showcase their ColorMaster spray paint.  In this one day whirlwind of an event called the Krylon Spraydown, we painted a truckload of furniture to create an outdoor space with nothing but spray paint.  Yep – it is possible.

Because Krylon ColorMaster dries to the touch in 15 minutes we were able to create an amazing outdoor space all in a day.  I was partnered with Mark from My Fix It Up Life and our “opponents” Liz from Hoosier Homemade was partnered with Mark’s wife Teresa.  In the episode I am in, we go head to head to create a space that will wow.

We had to fix up yard sale finds and this is what we had to work with. Do you see old, decrepit pieces of furniture?  With a little spray paint these were transformed into something awesome.  Just wait and see.

image-1 Believe it or not we spray painted all of it and it turned out pretty amazing if you ask me.

Meanwhile I leave you with this…a picture of the spray paint cans at Krylon’s marketing department.  I will have a case of each please.

  1. I need this paint! The hubs and I just “inherited” my mom’s hand-me-down patio furniture, and while it is in great shape, it’s not exactly my taste. It’s kind of a faded camo green metal with not-so-fabulous floral cushions. I want to spray paint that bad boy a bright turquoise and recover the cushions so bad I can’t stand it! Can’t wait to see what y’all created, and can’t wait to get my hands on some of that paint!

  2. Awesome. Unlike every other blogger out there, I actually really dislike Krylon and like Valspar- the only other one I’ve tried.

  3. Sounds like you have a fun project on your hands! I’d love to hear how your patio furniture comes out. Turquoise is such a beautiful color, much better than camo green. 😉
