Pottery Barn Inspired Flashcard Art

I have been putting a little TLC into sprucing up my kid’s playroom. You know…so it is is more than just a room that threw up Legos and Barbies. My sister-in-law actually wanted me to make her the oversized Pottery Barn Kids vintage flashcards for her playroom.  I did that this summer and had to make them for our playroom as well.  I love the clean look and how large they are – which covers a lot of wall on the cheap.

How to Build an Upcycled Planter Box

I am so absolutely thrilled with how this DIY planter box turned out.  I finally used all the fence posts that I scavenged from my neighbors trash a couple of year’s ago….sniff.  I love the mix of old weathered wood with fresh rich stained tones.  This planter is huge coming in at 7 1/2 feet long.  It makes a huge impact as you walk up to my door and I love seeing some color on my porch area.
