Hello sweet readers of Infarrantly Creative! Laura, of Finding Home, here once again to bring you a fun project idea. This time – I made a galvanized memo board out of a vintage window and brand new sheet of metal. My love for making something new out of something old is still in full swing.
Key Holder Rack Makeover Makeover
I found this magnetic memo board with hooks in the trash 3 years ago and made it over in black and red to go with our then color scheme. I have shared before that I changed the entire first floor color scheme last year. Before I had a light aqua on the walls with lots of black furniture and red for a pop color. I have loved that pallet for 7 years and it was time for a change. I was wanting to switch everything to light and airy. So I painted the walls a pale gray and kept a lot of the aqua color (I can’t get that color out of my system!) and then brought in pops of yellow.
Decorative Corkboard Memo Board
Carmel from Our Fifth House is back showcasing a little thrifted find turned one-of-a-kind art display for her guest bedroom. I love going thrifting and finding unexpected items to upcycle into something wonderful. The only thing better than that is finding it on the side of the road. I think this little project does qualify as some Roadkill Rescue, don’t you think?
