Recover a Lampshade with Arrow Fabric

Recover a Lampshade with Arrow Fabric

Sometimes you just need a change – a small change. Many times I will add new pillows to change up the look of my space, or a throw or maybe a lampshade.  I found this lampshade for $1 two years ago during an after Christmas sale.  I snagged it up knowing I would recover it someday. With this pretty arrow fabric from Spoonflower I revamped the Christmas shade into a colorful spring shade for my spray painted yellow ombre lamp.

DIY Decorative Wooden Arrows from Scrap Wood

DIY Decorative Wooden Arrows from Scrap Wood

Hey there!  It’s Carmel from Our Fifth House, and I’m back today to share a super simple and easy little DIY project.  These decorative, wooden arrows are fun to make and add the perfect amount of whimsy to a gallery wall.  I made them for my daughter’s room, but I think they’d be great in any space!  They’re so quick to whip up you could even create a whole wall of nothing but these fun arrows, which as side note would also be a great way to use up any leftover scrap wood you might have lying around your garage.
