I wanted to show you something cute I made using the Silhouette Cameo. It is always so exciting when you hear of someone having a baby.   I always want to give them a gift to celebrate the new life and big changes coming into their world. So I designed a matte to fit into a 5” x7” frame to show of their ultrasound picture. What an inexpensive but precious keepsake!

I designed it in the Silhouette Studio Program.

Then I sent patterned cardstock through my printer to print out the lettering.   Then I loaded the printed cardstock through my Silhouette machine and it cut it out perfect for me.  This would be considered and print and cut file.

I popped it in a frame and added an ultrasound picture and it was done!   No, I am not pregnant this is actually my son (4 years ago)!

What do you think?   Obviously if you do not have a digital cutting machine you could use a compass and a ruler to design the opening and then cut it out with an Exacto knife.
