I am a sucker for kitchen gadgets. Ok wait…I don’t discriminate…I love all things gadgets. I love trying new products and getting people’s opinion on the latest and greatest out there. That is why blogging is so much fun — I get constant opportunities to try stuff out. Anywho…my friend Kate is having a Kitchen Gadget Party and I thought I would join.
1. Vacu Vin Stainless Steel Pineapple Slicer
If you love pineapple and actually use a knife (GASP!) to cut it then you must immediately march over to Amazon and purchase this little gem. You cut off the top and then spin this gadget into the pineapple and it comes up sliced and cored. Then it leaves you with an empty pineapple perfect to make into a fruit dip bowl.
2. Shaklee Get Clean Products
I have done two reviews in the past of the Shaklee Get Clean products and I am utterly in love with them. Hands down my favorite is the Basic H which is one highly concentrated cleaner (I have had mine for two years and have about another year left probably) that makes your glass cleaner, degreaser, and all-purpose cleaner. LOVE! Not only it is all natural but it kicks butt when it comes to cleaning. It is plant-based so it is healthy for your wee ones too. Plus right now they are offering a free membership which they have never done before. I believe it gives you 15% off all products which would make this $10.35.
3. OXO Good Grips Strawberry Huller
Our family lives on strawberries in the summer and this strawberry huller from OXO makes “removing the yuckies†from a strawberry a cinch with no waste. It is awesome when you are making strawberry jam or other goodies and need a mass amount of berries.
4. Hamilton Beach Personal Blender with Travel Lid
I have a shake for breakfast many mornings and I love this compact travel one from Hamilton Beach. The canister removes and has a travel lid and is perfect for moms-on-the-go. My only complaint about this is that you have to hold the button down to blend. I wish you could press a button and walk away until it is all blended.
5. Cuisipro Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser
I have an obsession with foaming hand soap. I used to recycle Bath & Body Works dispensers but after a while those get skanky and the pump gets stuck. This soap dispenser has a suction cup bottom so that it is hard to tip over for little kids. Plus it gives you measurements for how much soap versus water to add and comes out perfect every time.
Come join the party, I would love to know your kitchen obsessions!

Why don’t I have a strawberry huller?! Love your list–you have some good ones. 🙂 Thanks for the visit, Beckie. 🙂
That looks like one heavy duty blender! I love it! Great list, it’s been fun seeing what’s on everyone’s list. Looks like I need to go shopping 🙂
Growing up we only used Basic H, my parents still have the GIANT dispenser of it in the basement and we use it for e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g!!!
These are some dandy gadgets that I hadn’t known about! Thanks for sharing your faves…I may be getting some of these in the near future!
Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂 I need to get one of those pineapple slicer… so I can give my husband a break!

my Nana gave me a bottle of basic H when I was pregnant with our first baby 15 years ago…It lasted forever! Great product. A few years back I got this idea to hull strawberries with a grapefruit spoon! It was brilliant…no waste and so easy. 🙂
