“LOVE LOVE LOVE them all. Think I would have to do my childrens initials and possibly birthdates. I have no mom jewelry. Some really fabulous designs would be hard to decide.†Adrienne email me at tnbfarrant@yahoo.com your have 48 hours to claim your prize.
If you are a mom of children under 12 and you don’t get a magazine subscription to Family Fun you are crazy! This magazine put out by Disney is chock full of ideas for day trips, family vacations, crafts, cooking with kids, tip and tricks. It is by far my favorite kid’s magazine. In the May 2010 issue they had an adorable idea for a teacher’s gift. It was finger stamped stationary.
Click on the picture for a full tutorial. Isaac loves playing with stamp pads so I thought this would be the perfect craft for him to make for his preschool teachers. In addition to the ones in the magazine we made these designs as well…
We stamped the words “thank you†on them and now they will have a set of cards with Isaac’s cute little fingerprints on them (I am assuming they think they are cute too ;-).
I also made some of these gorgeous flowers I featured in my last LOVES Links post. Find the tutorial here. There is a secret message on the back. Cuuuute!
I tied them with some ribbon and attached the flower in the middle.
Have you started making your children’s teacher gifts yet? I would love to have some more ideas to pack away for a later day. What is your favorite teacher gift? Teachers out there, what do you love to receive as a gift from a child?
My daughter is finishing her first year of preschool. These are absolutely adorable and we might have to make a few for her teachers. Thanks for the great idea!!!
I just found you and I am so excited! I love the idea of having my daughter get involved with the gift for her teacher! I am in love with the dahlia pin, I screamed when I saw it! I am so making these when my sister visits from California!
I am doing my 1st giveaway, I'd love for you to stop on over!

Love the idea of giving your teacher personalized Thank You note cards. A easy, inexpensive but completely practical gift for any teacher! Thanks Beckie!!!
Fast, easy and affordable. We all need them. Not only good for teachers, but great to have in the 'gift drawer' for those unexpected events. My Design Guide.com
Great Ideas! We are doing our first year of teacher gifts for preschool…chalkboard painted terra cotta pots with a flower planted in them. My son wrote "thank you" on the pot.
I loved the fingerprint picture idea in that issue…. your cards turned out so cute! I like the designs you added.
These are adorable and I'd LOVE to receive them from my students. Yesterday I did get the BEST gift…the art teacher had them made cards for me. I read them when we got back into our classroom & they had me in tears. I'll really miss this group of 3rd graders.
OH, those flowers are so fabulous!
