I absolutely loved the Instagram photo display board that Carmel from Our Fifth House shared here this week. There are some great ideas and tutorials floating around out there that will provide you with even more incentives to download your Instagrams and put them where Grandma will get to see them. Speaking of Grandma…any of these ideas would make a great gift idea for her! Enjoy these 5 Ways to Display Your Instagram Photos.
This month’s Silhouette promo (begins tomorrow) is on all their specialty media like printable canvas, magnet paper, tattoo paper, foil, adhesive cardstock and more. My 2nd grade son is currently learning the 50 states in school. I thought cutting out a blank USA map on some magnet paper would help him learn his states quicker. Let me tell you…it is helping me learn too. Apparently my US geography sucks since my husband had to put the puzzle together initially. #geographyfail
I found this magnetic memo board with hooks in the trash 3 years ago and made it over in black and red to go with our then color scheme. I have shared before that I changed the entire first floor color scheme last year. Before I had a light aqua on the walls with lots of black furniture and red for a pop color. I have loved that pallet for 7 years and it was time for a change. I was wanting to switch everything to light and airy. So I painted the walls a pale gray and kept a lot of the aqua color (I can’t get that color out of my system!) and then brought in pops of yellow.
I think having a big calendar is essential for any family so that everyone is on the same page. I, too have a big calendar in my kitchen to sort all the activities of our family each month which is also magnetic and uses the chalk inks and I love it. Mine is a bit different (I used a glass picture frame instead). Please welcome Brook back today to share with you how to build a custom calendar that is a chalkboard and magnetic.
What’s not to love about a magnetic dry erase calendar? I have had the picture frame glass dry erase calendar…
