Happy Easter Week! What fun things do you have planned for this weekend?  I must say, I enjoy being a mom to a girl. Sans the drama and the whining – it can be so much fun. Kayla loves to primp and enjoys matching outfits (think Punky Brewster). So when I made her these bunny rabbit hair bows last year, as well as one to give a friend, she was ecstatic. So much so she even modeled for some pictures.  Plus these are a great last minute craft you can whip up in 5 minutes.
I might be obsessed with making felt wreaths. I just love playing with felt in the fall. I love the texture and weight of it. And it just seems right to make a zillion felt wreaths. They make great gifts and are very simple to make especially if you have some sort of die cutting machine. This week I am going to talk about the difference between the Silhouette machine that I use so often, and the Sizzix machine that I have been playing with lately. What I love about this felt flower wreath is that you can customize it for the season by changing out the flowers. All you have to do is remove the pins.

Carmel from our Fifth House is back today sharing a super simple outdoor project that is sure to add some fun and whimsy to your outdoor spaces! Making a couple of tiered planters adds height and color to your porch or deck.
Last year I showed you how to make felt flowers. Using that same technique I made some flowers out of Duck Tape®. Duck Tape® comes in an array of colors and patterns and they sent me some Christmas patterns/colors to use. These are so easy and fun to make and you can add them to a purse, scarf, shirt, bag or a BELT!
I’ve been busy this week sprucing up my outdoor spaces, and I’m so excited to show you how everything turns…
