In my active fight against sugar, I bumped into this Sugar & Dairy Free Frosting made with alternative non-dairy products. Haven’t looked back.
I keep researching and trying new combinations and different ‘natural’ and unrefined sugars. For now, very happy with this one.
Specially to go with my Gluten and Sugar Free Carrot Cake.
Frosting with only 2 ingredients
It could not be easier to make.
- Whippable Creamy Oat
- Organic Maple Syrup
Using this Whippable Creamy Oat from Oatly and maple syrup. That is it.
How to make the Vegan frosting
Just whip the cream and, when nearly done, add as much syrup as you wish. I don’t give you measurements since it is a matter of personal taste.
Of course, the more, the sweeter.
I added the equivalent to 2 tablespoons for my small carrot cake, and it was really nice and sweet enough.
The result is Carrots-tacular

- 1 Electric Whisker
- 1 pack Whippable Creamy Oat
- 1 cup Organic Maple Syrup
- Whip the cream.
- When nearly done, add as much syrup as you wish.
