Welcome to day 3 of the State Pride Tour. Today we have New York, New Mexico, North Dakota, Kansas, Georgia and New Jersey. The projects continue to amaze me. If you missed the other projects start here with Day 1.
Jen from Tatertots & Jello grew up in New York. So she was over the moon to be able to bring a little NY into her Utah home.
New York State of Mind Pillows & Printable
Amy from Positively Splendid created a wood cross which she said reminded her of the artisans lined up along the plaza in Santa Fe, their blankets spread out and brimming with handmade treasures for sale.
Heidi from Hand Occupied is from North Dakota. She writes of her beloved home state “What the North Dakota naysayers don’t realize is how nice everyone from North Dakota is! The friendly phenomenon even has a nickname, North Dakota nice, which means different things to different people.”
Cindy from Skip to my Lou hails from Kansas, which is known for their sunflowers. She is showing everybody how to crochet a sunflower in honor of Kansas.
Rhoda is a southern girl from Georgia and she is quite proud of her home state of Georgia. She has plenty of recipes and southern Georgia charm sprinkled throughout her blog.
Kelly from Eclectically Vintage is a Jersey girl. And a fun fact I didn’t know was that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb in New Jersey. She paid homage to one of the greatest inventions by creating a doodle art light bulb.
We have two more days of State Pride fun. Click here for Oregon, Colorado, New Hampshire, Texas, Virginia and Utah.
