Sports are huge here in Indiana. I must say basketball rules this state but there are still plenty of soccer fans out there. I have a few friends whose kids are die hard soccer players. When I saw these Glittered Soccer Shapes at Michaels I knew a quick and easy project would be to make some soccer mom earrings. How fun to sport (pun totally intended!) soccer jewelry!
Supplies (all from Michaels):
Glittered Soccer Ball Shapes (in scrapbook embellishment section)
E6000 Glue
Glue on Earring Posts
Plastic Earring Backs
1. Remove the sticker from the back of the glittered soccer shape.
2. Glue the post onto the back of the soccer ball towards the top covering that little hole.
3. Let it dry overnight. Put the plastic earring back on and you are done.
I also found these really cute cupcake ones that would be a fun favor for a birthday party. I bought two packs so I could make 5 pairs of earrings. This project will take you all of about 3 minutes to complete.
Super cute!! I will have to make some of these.
They are cheap too. I think I got the shapes on sale for $1.50. And of course their jewelry stuff is on sale every other week. Let me know if you make them.
