Roadkill Rescue Thought Process

Hello and Happy Easter. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter Sunday.   I am so grateful for what Jesus Christ did on the cross to save a sinner like me.   Today I am basking in His grace and enjoying my family.

I get asked the question, “How on Earth did you think of THAT?” fairly often.   I thought I would make a video for you to get a glimpse of what goes on in my mind when it comes to my Roadkill Rescue projects.

I recently found an old changing table curbside.   I thought I would show you how my brain thinks when I attempt to refab something.   I hope to show you the final project and tutorial tomorrow.

But for today…enjoy my randomness.

  1. Aw, loved this video!! Made me miss you! How are you, friend??

  2. I am a huge fan of taking things off the side of the road, and people always say “I never find cool stuff like that” well I have no shame! I don’t mind pulling off to the side of the road to snag a great piece. Here’s to girls who aren’t afraid o get dirty!

Thanks for sharing your thought process.

  3. I love the video. Can’t wait to see the finished project!!

  4. Love your video! I think a lot like you do! I’m always bringing “junK” home and my family /friends think I’m a little bit wacky. I dont’ have a lot of “artsy” type friends IRL ,so I’m feeling a bit misunderstood lately. anyway, thanks for the video!

  5. ha, thanks for the insight into your creative mind 😉

  6. Hehehehe, love it. Can’t wait to see the finished project. Love the way your mind works

  7. Genius! I really never do find roadkill furniture, we just don’t have it around here for some reason, but I do often look at yard sales for pieces to rescue. I love your blog, and the video was fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!

  8. thanks for sharing i also love rescueing a peice and seeing what it can turn into

  9. That was very cool! I’m excited for yard sale season to roll around again, and there are some things that I need/want to make for the house. Seeing your thought process definitely helped!!!
