I have shared over and over about my love of my Brother P-touch Labeler.  Every time I see the price drop on Amazon I put it on social media hoping you will buy it and love it as much as I do.  I think everyone ought to have a labeler in their house.  The Brother P-touch labeler even made my 2014 Favorite List.  There is not a week that goes by that I don’t pull it out to label something in my home. Today I decided to go beyond the traditional use of my labeler to learn all the different fonts and frames available and came up with this inspiring quote clipboard to hang in my office…

But first…in honor of National Get Organized month here are some ways I have used my labeler to help me stay organized.

I labeled all the bins in our mudroom…

In addition to all this Brother also sells iron on label tape that is compatible with the P-touch.  So I have labeled my kids’ uniforms, shoes, gloves, scarves, etc.  Are you getting the idea that you can label just about anything?  Don’t get me started on labeling my pantry. A labeler is just a really helpful thing to have.  But it doesn’t just stop with function, you can also make it cute too.

That picture above of me is taken by Heather from Whipperberry when I was speaking at the SNAP conference last year.  I really enjoy speaking and I feel it is truly when I come alive.  I want to take more opportunities to speak this year.  I thought having that picture in front of me will help inspire me to say yes to those opportunities even though I want to say no.

This year I am setting out to rediscover myself.  So the word of the year I have chosen is “rediscover” for my 2015 theme word.  This quote inspires me and I wanted to have it somewhere as a reminder.

So I took a Dollar Tree clipboard, spray painted it Krylon Flat Black and the clip Krylon Metallic Gold.

 

Using my Brother P-Touch labeler and pink with white writing refill tape I used all sorts of fonts, frames and width to make a “ransom note” looking clipboard with the quote on it.

All you do is print the label, cut it with the built-in cutter and peel off the protective tape on the back and stick in in place.

When complete I just added a picture under the gold clip.
