Before we finished Isaac’s big boy bed he had a crib (of course!) and we had hung his baby quilt on the wall. You can see it here. Well with the new bed the quilt was too long to be hung and interfered with the bed. So I have been eyeballing barnyard stars for a while now. We have this fabulous store called Flower Factory here and they were around $4.70 a piece. I am loving how everyone is scrapbooking them lately. Click here, here and here. Too cute! However, I went for something simple. I got two smaller ones and a bigger one and painted them light blue, navy blue and orange and then gave them an antiquing with some Plaid Apple Butter Brown Antiquing Medium. I love how they turned out. It gave his room the added punch it needed. As you can see I still haven’t painted the bottom half of Isaac’s room. I doubt that will get done before baby girl comes but it is on my to-do list.

  1. Darn cute, boog! 😉 Looks terrific and coordinates with the rest of the room!

But now……….how about taking it easy and concentrating on getting rid of that respiratory infection you’ve been sporting for the last few days?

You need to get well and strong for our new baby girl’s arrival…ya think?

  2. I think they are way cute! Can I fly you out here for a week to finish some projects at my house? I hadn’t seen the scrapbook ones, but those are so cute! I may have to give it a try.
