This month, as part of the Lowe’s Creative Ideas Team, we got a $500 gift card to makeover a bathroom in our home.  I knew exactly what I wanted to blow the entire wad on — a new vanity for my master bathroom.  My vanity was a builder grade basic bathroom cabinet that I have tried over the years to make a little nicer.  The thing that always drove me CRAAAAAAZY was that the vanity had not one drawer in it.  Seriously? No drawers? Come on people!  So I ran right over to Lowes and picked up the in-stock ESTATE by RSI 60" Java Avalon Bath Vanity for $482.  It used up my whole gift card but it was worth every penny to upgrade that bad boy!DSC_0316

Here is what it the old vanity looked like before with my faux tin tile treatment on it.

And here is my new modern vanity from Lowes.

I love the dark wood with the brushed silver square knobs as well as the classic shaker style cabinets.  It looks so nice with the pale blue walls.  Plus I have my ever-coveted drawers now!  I just threw a Dollar Tree basket in there which slides on the drawer sides back and forth and put all my beauty supplies in the first drawer.  The second drawer has my hair supplies like curling irons and straighteners in it.  Then the other side has my hubby’s guy stuff in it Winking smile

I also grabbed a few yellow towels from Target to bring in that pop and also tie in my jewelry organizer.

I absolutely love this new cabinet plus it also raised the vanity up a few inches which is nice when you are taller.  I will have to tell you about the install of this vanity soon.  It is quite a story!

Be sure to check out all that Lowe’s has to offer when it comes to making your bathroom space beautiful.
