*Post updated 2022*
Here are the Best Gift Ideas for this year 2022. It is really funny to see how after all those years my “favorite things” are still my “favorite things”.
I am teaming up with seven other bloggers to showcase our favorite things. These are my favorite posts to read since I am always nosey curious to hear about what products people love.
I have found some of my most favorite things from reading other people’s favorite things posts.
MY FAVORITE THINGS (BEST GIFT IDEAS EVER)
1. Brother P-Touch Label MakerÂ
I think every woman should have a labeler. It is great for labeling your pantry, your kid’s school supplies, plugs and cords, etc.
I break mine out EVERY week. You can buy all sorts of labels for this machine, including iron-on labels, perfect for labeling your kids hats, gloves, sweaters, and jackets.
Fabric pot holders and oven mitts wear out and get dirty after a while. I love my silicone oven finger mitts.Â
They are small so they are easy to store and you can pop them in the dishwasher when they get greasy.
I owned a pair of full silicone mitts and I didn’t like them as much as I like these half ones. I only have one pair and I have had them for about 5 years and they still look brand new.Â
I love this mascara. It does’t replace your regular mascara, but rather, is in addition to. You put on your regular mascara (I love Maybelline’s Falsies) and then add the fiber lash mascara on top of it.
It is a two-part system but it actually adds fibers to your lashes and extends them to make them about 1/8 – 1/4 longer.
You may have heard of Younique Fiber Lash Mascara. This is pretty much the same thing. I have tried both and love the price for the quality of this one.
4. Kreg Jig
I can’t do a favorite thing list without adding my Kreg Jig to it. If you build any furniture (or want to!) you need a Kreg Jig.
It makes building so much easier allowing you to drill hidden pocketholes to join pieces of wood together to form a tight joint.
I can’t imagine building without it. I adore.
5. Hamilton Beach Personal Blender
I love my big blender but this is great for making morning smoothies for one. It packs a lot of power crushing and blending all the ice and you can remove the blender and it doubles as a to-go cup.
At less than $15 it is a steal and worth it to have it in your cupboard for on-the-go smoothies.
6. Heated Throw
During the cold winter months in the Midwest you can find me curled under my Sunbeam heated throw. In fact, as I type this post I am under it, cranked up to high and all cozy.Â
I have given one to my mother-in-law and my dad’s girlfriend and they are both obsessed with it too.
I already purchased one for my grandma and grandpa this year for Christmas too.
If you are a person who is always snuggled under a blanket -you ain’t snuggled until you are under a heated throw. HEAVEN!
7. Spice Spinner Two-Tiered Spice Organizer
I have shared about my love of the spice organization system before. If you haven’t ordered one yet and your spice cabinet is a hot mess you will thank me for recommending it.
Paired with my Brother labeler (see #1) this is the perfect way to store your spices. You can easily find what you are looking for and I even have the thin one to accommodate a narrower cabinet.
I love me any kind of spray paint. But this year is all about the metallics and glitter for me. I LOVE Krylon’s Glitter Blast spray paint.
It is literally a poof of the most glorious shimmery glitter ever. It is the perfect amount of bling to signs, lamps, vases, etc.
My favorites are Golden Glow and Silver Flash!
9. Crane Drop Ultrasonic Cool Mist Air Humidifier
In the winter when it is dry and cold in the Midwest we constantly have humidifiers going. It helps hydrate our skin and keep our nasal passages clear.
I love the Humio humidifier for my kids because it changes the color of the light (which my kids think is so cool) and it has a special place to put essential oils – which is helpful when it is cold and flu season.
10. Amish Popcorn in a Whirly Pop Popcorn Maker
This year has been about making healthier food choices. Popcorn has been my go-to snack in the evenings. My friend, Nicole turned me onto Amish Popcorn made on the stove with a Whirly Popcorn Maker and a couple of tablespoons of olive oil.
My favorite flavor is Rainbow Unique Blend or Ladyfinger. No butter is required and it actually tastes awesome without it. I just put a little coarse salt on it and and it is oh-so yummy.
You can check my post about Popcorn Lovers gift Ideas if you want to have a good laugh too.
11. WeeRide Co Pilot Tagalong Children’s Trailer Bike
I love going on bike rides with my kiddos. My daughter can’t quite ride a two-wheeled bike by herself nor keep up to my eight year old with her training wheels on.
We purchased this Wee-rider to add to the back of my bike and now it is a lot easier to go for miles and be active as a family. I make her pedal (you can feel when they quit pedaling) but she has the confidence of riding with mommy while still learning how to pedal.
Plus it is easy to remove from your bike when you want to go solo.
Those are my favorites. To read more about my friend’s favorite things click around and see what they love. I can’t wait to read them all!

That spice rack is amazing! I have such a tiny kitchen, with shelved that go up way too high, that would be perfect!
I really love mine. Please let me know what you think if you try it.
Oh my – that glitter blast may be my new favorite thing. I must get some!!!
I LOVE it, Gina. If you give it a try, let me know what you think!
