My 2007 Birthday List

I am going to be 30 in 9 days. Ugh so dreadful! On a brighter note….Here is my 2nd annual birthday list.

Since my love language is receiving gifts and ya’ll love me so much I figured I would make your life easier and send you my list of stuff I want for my birthday. Please feel free to send me your birthday list on your birthday month because I love giving gifts as well. I know you have never sent me a gift for my birthday but I figured there is nothing like the present to start. Get it present? HA HA I crack myself up. This is also my way of assuring myself that I will get more for my birthday than the birthday card from my insurance guy.

1. A new wire whisk – mine is all cruddy and rusty and I am afraid I will need to update my tetanus shots if I continue using it. Since I hate shots and the sight of my own blood this would be awesome.

2. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers — Have you tried these things? They truly are magical. Don’t use them on your face though, supposedly a child nearly rubbed her cheeks off. Bad idea. Although if I had a nasty zit, I may try it!

3. Dymo Letra Tag Refills — I love to label everything. It is addicting. I don’t care the color. I like the plastic ones or the paper ones. I haven’t gotten to explore the iron-ons yet. I can pretty much tell the difference between my underwear and Tim’s so there is no need for the iron on labels just yet.

4. Glue Sticks — I use these for all sorts of craft projects and never seem to have enough of them. Since it is school supply season they are on sale everywhere. You would think I would stock up but I just started the envelope system and can’t seem to find the budget line for school supplies. Grrr!

5. Bronzer — I think that is what it is called. It is that powder that has different color swirls in it that you can use to highlight your face and it makes your look like you are in your 20s. Can you tell I don’t use that much makeup? But since I am turning 30 I am preparing for the worst.

6. Thank you cards — I still haven’t written thank you cards for the precious saints who came to our house and helped us move. I wanted to make them but I have gotten unmotivated in the midst of refinishing my bedroom furniture. Meanwhile these people probably think I am unappreciative.

7. Transparent tape (I think it is called Scotch Magic Tape) — I just ran out of this stuff the other day. So I am tapeless until you buy me more. I use it mostly on sealing envelopes because I once heard it was 5 calories to lick one. First of all they taste disgusting, secondly there is no way I need to add one more calorie into my diet.

8. Wrinkle Release Spray — That stuff is fantabulous, especially for someone who refuses to iron. I never buy 100% cotton stuff for that simple fact. I just spray a little of this “magic iron” on and put it in the dryer for a few minutes. Wahla! It is like I have a maid in my house.

9. New Kitchen Towels — I haven’t updated them since I had a blue sunflower kitchen. Can we say… hello early 90s? Can we say…what was I thinking? Not only are they light blue checked with ducks on them but they look like a moth got a hold of them. My kitchen is red and black.

10. Sweet stuff. Like….ummm…Twix peanut butter bars or regular twix bars. Hostess Cupcakes (I have a great story about hiding these from my hubby, ask me about it sometime), DOTS, cherry twizzler bits, good n plenty, turtles….I need to get on the treadmill just for thinking about these things.

HUGS!
