It wasn’t the money

Manifesting money

It hit me today. Like a brick. In the middle of my crown chakra.

I went into blogging not long ago (I really missed the old good days of blogging) and, like everyone else, I had hopes to make a nice income from it. Well, and I did actually.

But I am one of those people who arrives late to the party …metaphorically speaking. It’s like buying now a smartphone and thinking you’re a forerunner lol.

Anyways… that nice income went down…and down… and it did not look pretty. What’s happened to blogging? What’s happened to ‘readers’?

Oh I know that last one. Readers are beyond fed up with the profit focussed content, and not only in a blog but in the world we live in.

Yes, I am writing this in a blog that is monetized with adverts…still cause a girl has to eat but this is definitely food for thought and, not only a shift is occurring in the world at global level but also there are micro-shifts happening everywhere.

It wasn’t the money

I was not going to write about blogging though…but about MONEY that word we all like that much and think is THE solution to all our problems.

I got news for you in case you have not realized yet. It is not. Even if – as the old saying says – helps a lot (not denying that) it is absolutely not enough to make worth the restless search for it and the greed that is consuming humanity.

As a wannabe blogger and “working-from-home-on-the-internet” mum I have spent thousands in courses, webinars, books and whatnot…all of that to get to those shiny 10K a month, maybe 20K, 30K…oh the sky is the limit, right?

And I quit the greed. I don’t need that much money, never did really.

Here’s what I value the most: what you cannot see or touch or hear… what we are made of…light, love and law, natural law.

Tell me…what do you enjoy doing? What brings you Joy?

When I asked myself this question…I crumbled, you know why? I did not have an answer other than “making money brings me joy” and that is, let me tell you, deeply saddening.

So here I am, in my early 50s facing my shadows and searching meaning and joy.

Wish me luck.
