My blogging friend Marie from Make & Takes just released a kid’s craft book called Make and Takes for Kids: 50 Crafts Throughout the Year published by Wiley.  I was so excited for her new adventure and couldn’t wait to get a copy of it. Highlighting the best of each month of the year, Make and Takes for Kids offers 50 projects to make with kids, each centered around an upcoming holiday or season.
Isaac found it right away —probably due to the snake on the front.  Immediately, he was flipping through it saying “I want to make that, and I want to make this too.†So within an hour we had made two of the projects in the book.
Of course the snake on the front was our first project…
Then we hopped around and made a project from the month of May — the rainbow fan.
I really enjoy doing crafts with my kids and this books lays out everything I need, with simple instructions and great ideas for young kids. Â My son already wants to make everything from the November portion of the book. Â Anything I can do that helps me foster creativity in my home, I AM ALL OVER!
I highly recommend this book if you have young kids who enjoy being creative. Â This would also be a great resource for the classroom, giving teachers ideas for the seasons and holidays.
Christmas is around the corner pick up your copy today.
Fun! My son is always trying to make stuff lol
I LOVE his face with that snake! And so cute that he posed the same, just like the photo of the child with the fan. Love it!! Thank you!
I’m always looking for fun crafts to do with the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a fabulous resource for young mothers and grannies like me!
