I love looking at something and trying to figure out how I can recreate it myself for even less money. Call me cheap or frugal, but I could probably be a multi-millionaire and still pass up an item in a store to make it myself. It was this love for “knock-off” projects that propelled me to start one of my other sites, Knock Off Décor, three-and-a-half years ago.
Oh, wait… you didn’t know I had another blog???
Yessiree! Knock Off Décor is actually one of my three sites (the other being Roadkill Rescue) and showcases individuals who have been inspired by amazing designers from companies who are on the cutting edge of interior design. It is chock full of projects inspired by your and my favorite stores, including Anthropologie, Ballard Designs, and Pottery Barn. If you love high-end stores like these but not so much their high-end prices, Knock Off Décor is for you!
Here’s a little sample of the projects you will find on Knock Off Décor. Enjoy!
