I didn’t. And it has been a bit of a shock to be honest. I was born in the 70s and all I knew about manga was Pokemon, Naruto and Dragon Ball. But never heard of this until recently. Hentai Manga: Do you know what this is?

At first, when my daughter mentioned it, I just thought of it like a japanese cartoon and that’s it. In fact, once she showed me some series about teenagers going to University and everything seemed quite normal to me (it turns out that was Anime).
Well, apparently there is much more to it and, perhaps, if you are like me completely oblivious of it, you might get a little shock so keep reading.

Yep, this is the one my son was reading.

However, it is good to create awareness among us parents with teens who haven’t got a clue about this and get lost with Japanese words we don’t understand.
