apple scented candle in a Jar thumb1

When you go to a page or a blog for the first time are you like me and check out the “about” page? I am also kind of a sucker for a good story.  So I was sucked in reading how Goose Creek Candle Company got its start.  You have to read it, it will make you want to buy a candle.  Anyway back to the point of this post…guess what Goose Creek Candle is giving away?  Their beautiful 16 ounce American Heirloom jar candle to 4 lucky IC readers.

I adore the brushed nickel top and the fact that there is no lettering on the jars.  Just plain and simple thankyouverymuch.  But the scents are POWERFUL…in a good way.

I am a fruity girl (did I just day that?) so I got to test out the Orange Berry Slush, Spun Sugar and Blueberry Passion.  And let me tell you they all smell divine and if you light them all together they smell like the Farmer’s Market. HA!

If you love candles check out Goose Creek Candle Co.  If you ask me they have more of a fresh fragrant and not a waxy smell to them.  Does that make sense?  I don’t know how else to describe it other than they smell natural and not fabricated and overkill.  Plus they are prettier (and cheaper!) than the Yankee Candle which is usually what I have burning. The 16 ounce candles burn for 90 hours.  That is a whole lotta smellin’.

Goose Creek is also offering an exclusive coupon code to my readers to get 30% off an entire purchase.  Enter 08101212 when you check out and you’ll receive 30% off your entire order.

  1. Ooo! Candles just in time for Fall – my favorite burning season! I think the Whipped Pumpkin Latte sounds perfect for October, but the Apple Bourbon would be the one I’d start with in September. Apples scents just go so perfectly with the weather changing from hot to cool, and it’s also good for back-to-school!

  2. It just turned cooler here and with the windows open nothing is better than a fresh linen candle smell. Thanks for introducing me to this site.

  3. I was super excited and curious when I saw this! I am from (born/raised/and still live in) a little town named Goose Creek. It’s located in South Carolina. When I visited the website, I had a little chuckle. There is a photo of one of the Victorian candle jars sitting atop a book, titled “Very Charleston.” My little Goose Creek is a suburb of Charleston, SC. How fitting…I love everything and anything Goose Creek and Charleston. I also LOVE scented candles. To have a candle from “Goose Creek” would make me a happy woman. So many of my favorite scents…it’s hard to choose. Sparkling Citrus, Blueberry Cheesecake, Summer Slices, Apple Delight, Orange Berry Slush…mmmmmmm.
