I have seen pharmacy bottles with vintage labels on them everywhere lately.  All the décor magazines have them and they make the perfect little vintage whimsy in a vignette or as a vase with flowers in them.  Well today I invited Angie from the Country Chic Cottage over to show you a Pottery Barn knock off version.  You know how much I love Knock Off Décor!
Seriously?  Am I on Infarrantly Creative??  Get out of town!  Can you tell I am a bit excited??  My name is Angie and I blog over at The Country Chic Cottage.  I blog about home decor, crafts, DIY, knock offs —  I could go on and on! 🙂  But I love sprucing up my home on a budget!  Today I have a Pottery Barn knock off for ya!  One that cost me — nothing, nada, zip!  Are you ready to make your own apothecary jars?
The original Pottery Barn version comes in at anywhere from $69 to $149 a piece — yes each…
I made up a set of labels using the computer. Â Guess what? Â I made a printable just for you! Â I made them all different sizes so depending on the size jars you have the perfect label is just a click away! Â You can print them on regular paper or on label stock. Â I used just plain paper for mine.
Your printable will look different than mine. Â I added others in different sizes. Â I took some brown ink and used a paper towel to rub it on each label. Â I made some darker then others.
I then gathered up random jars and bottles. Â You could even use old food jars. Â Anything should work for this. Â If you could find some of those old glass spice containers with the lids they would be perfect.
Just cut your labels out. Â Put Mod Podge on the back and stick them to the jars. Â That is it!!
So easy and yet they look so good! Â I copied the names directly off of the Pottery Barn website. Â Now I am wondering what all of these actually mean..LOL!
I love the brown ink in varying degrees on each label. Â I heart these…I have been meaning to make them forever. Â Now that I know how easy they are I am wondering why I waited!
And when you get tired of these labels they should come right off with some water and elbow grease. Â Perfect for me since I can never make up my mind!
So what are you waiting for? Â Start printing right now and gather up your useless bottles and jars!
I added them to my vintage cabinet in the bathroom. Â The perfect bathroom decor don’t ya think?
Thanks so much for having me Beckie! Â I hope you all enjoyed! Â Please stop by and visit the cottage anytime! Â I would love to have ya!

Those are awesome! Love, love the brown one, soooo perfect! Now off to find some bottles….
Looking at the PB bottles, I wonder if you could use those $3.00 candles from Michaels and AC Moore that have the lids…..just melt out the wax.
Great idea!
Beautifully done. LOVE the price!
