Elfcapades Day #3

elfcapades

Ollie was spent after his fiasco yesterday with bringing the Hummer car inside.  He was so tried. He decided that he needed a more subdued day.  So this is the note that was outside my childrens’ doors this morning.

IMG_1728 Hi Isaac and Kayla. Did you enjoy my little trick with the Hummer car yesterday? HEEHEE I am so funny. I was so tired yesterday from lifting the Hummer car into your house I called Santa and had him send me my jammies and slippers from the North Pole. Do you like my new outfit? It it way more cozy than my elf outfit. I love when you put me into my bag at night with my Magic Snowflakes but I needed a comfier place to stay. I saw both you and Kayla had “special blankies,” So I decided I needed one too. So last night I snuck into your mommy’s studio and made myself a pillow and blanket. Now I am all comfy. I am guessing you wanted me to stay in the guest room since I am your guest right? So I made myself at home there. Come and wake me up!

Oh wait…the story. We can’t forget the true meaning of Christmas. So where did we leave off? Oh yes…

So Mary and Joseph became husband and wife. They had to go register for their taxes. Back then they did not have cars. So Mary and Joseph loaded all their stuff up and rode a donkey into town. They took food with them and clothes for the baby. The long journey lasted days and they walked most of the way. When they reached Bethlehem it was full of people and Mary and Joseph could not find anywhere to sleep.IMG_1733

Elfcapades Day 3

Here is the note Ollie left Isaac outside of his bedroom door last night…

Hi Isaac, you are such a fun boy. I am so glad Santa sent me to your house. I had fun yesterday when you and your daddy were hiding me. You are very good at hide-n-seek. I like to play with you.

I love when you sprinkle me with the Magic North Pole Snowflakes. It makes me act all silly. I got in trouble again while you were sleeping. I have another hint for you to find me. I like playing play with things that go vroom vroom, beep beep or honk honk.  Where do you think I am?

But wait. Before you find me. I have to tell you more of the story…Do you remember what part of the story we left off at from yesterday?

So Mary and Joseph became husband and wife. They had to go register for their taxes. Back then they did not have cars. So Mary and Joseph loaded all their stuff up and rode a donkey into town. They took food with them and clothes for the baby. The long journey lasted days and they walked most of the way. When they reached Bethlehem it was full of people and Mary and Joseph could not find anywhere to sleep.

Here is the mess that Ollie left behind…
