IMG_1719That crazy Ollie did his first wild ride last night! He actually went into the garage and got Isaac’s motorized Hummer car and was riding it all night long.  And he left this note…

Isaac I had so much fun with you yesterday. I liked singing the Elf Magic songs with you and watching you make a gingerbread house. You are very good at building. Thank you for bringing me to church and showing me to your friends. And Kayla you were so cute eating all the candy and saying “Ollie, Ollie!” over and over again. That made me feel so special. I am glad Santa let me come and stay with you both.

Here is the hint to where you can find me today: You have the best toys ever! I love to drive and you have the biggest car I have ever seen. So I snuck in your garage last night and got the coolest car I could drive and and have been doing donuts in the snow with it outside. Don’t worry I was safe and wore my seatbelt.

But Before you come to find me let me continue with our story…

Mary was nervous about being a mom but she trusted in God. She was going to get married to a man named Joseph. He was a carpenter, that means he built tables and chairs out of wood. She told him about seeing the angel Gabriel and what he told her about the baby in her belly. Joseph was confused. Then he had a dream when he was sleeping one night. In his dream God told him that what Mary was saying was the truth. So Joseph trusted God that he should have Mary be his wife and be Jesus’ daddy here on earth. IMG_1725

  1. so cute! I need to start doing this with my little one!

FYI- I'm not sure if you want opinions on your new blog layout (Read More link) but if you were wondering, I find that I don't end up reading your blog as much because of the extra time it takes to open up an entry. I used to open your blog and just scroll down reading everything you wrote and I find I now pass unless it is something I am specifically looking to read. Just thought you should know, I'm not sure if others feel the same! But I vote you go back to the way it used to be!

    Thanks! Still love your blog!

  2. I saw your Elfcapades series last year and thought it was adorable; so this year, we are joining in. My little one even prayed that Ollie would do something silly tonight! Precious!! 🙂

  3. I don't know why people freak out about clicking Read More. It's a little click. Get over it. Sorry. I'll be quiet.

Here is the note that Ollie left outside of Isaac’s  door this morning.

Good morning Isaac! While you were sleeping I was busy playing with your toys. You have fun toys. I especially like the snack shop. I hope you enjoyed the oreo cookies I gave you yesterday for your snack shop. Thank you for the crackers and water. It reminded me of home. I got in a little trouble while you were sleeping and I need you to come look for me.

I will give you a hint to where I am at…I watched you eat breakfast this morning it looked so good I decided to have some myself.

Before you come to find me let me continue with our story…

In his dream God told him that what Mary was saying was the truth. So Joseph trusted God that he should have Mary be his wife and be Jesus’ daddy here on earth.

Isaac went downstairs first and then came back up to my room screaming, “Ollie ate the crackers and drank all of the water!”  Then we went downstairs to hunt for Ollie.  He was in the cereal box in the cabinet.  Isaac thought it was funny that he was stuck in his cereal box.  And after taking him out of the box gave him a hug and said “You are silly Ollie.”

After breakfast Isaac and Daddy played “hunt for Ollie.”  One of them would hide Ollie and the other would have to give a hint to help them find him.  I think a new tradition has begun.
