I can’t tell you what a joy it was to share my Crafternoon Holiday String Art product with 50 women in my community this week. Last month, I told you how I had my very first product in a store on a shelf!!!  Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores is selling my Holiday String Art.  It is a fun craft that you can do in an afternoon, so it makes the perfect craft to get together with some friends to make.

If you have ever wanted to try your hand at string art this is the perfect project because it is a beginner level string art project and the holes for nailing are already done for you.

I will say it was so loud in that room while 50 women were pounding nails.  I should have made ear plugs a prerequisite.  WOWIE WOW!

I loved walking around and seeing how each person’s project turned out.  Don’t be fooled by my friend’s smile (the one in the red vest) – she was the bleeder of the class.  Don’t ask me how that happened.  I think she still had fun though, craft wound and all 🙂

This would be a great Christmas project to do with the family.  Often times at family gatherings you do a whole lot of sitting around.  I bet you would be queen of the ladies if you brought these to do.  They are still available at your local Jo-Ann’s (they have a few left online too!) and they are half off this week!  Plus there is a 20% off coupon off your entire purchase (on their app) going on for the next two days.  It will knock it down to $6!

You can see the difference between more and less string in the pictures below.

So run to Jo-Ann’s and pick up some kits to have a holiday girls gathering.  You can beat $6 for a craft night out with the ladies.

  1. Hi Amy, The code wasn’t valid anymore so I took it down. But they released a new code. Go to and sign up. Then you will get $5 off just for signing up through my name. Then if you use the code RED10, you will get another $10 off any gift card. Hope that helps.
