My house is a revolving door. There is never a day in our home when someone other than my family is in my house. We have an open door policy. We have friends and neighborhood kids over ALL.THE.TIME, especially in the summer with a pool. And I love it. I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only thing that drives me crazy are the messes, the snack bill, and them constantly leaving the door wide open. Ok that was three things. There are definitely good and bad issues with a full house.

But back to the constantly leaving the door open issue. It is a problem. I am constantly like “Close the DOOOOR!”. I even installed one of those automatic door closers on my garage door. But still our house is like a haven for every fly in Columbus, Ohio because of the in and out all day long. While I love to chase them with fly swatters, most of the time I give up and find them dead in the corners in my home. It is gross. And once you learn about flies and how nasty they are, you definitely are grossed out when said fly dies on the countertop. GUHHHROSS!

Enter Zevo. No need to kill flies with odors or messes anymore. I also LOVE the fact that it is a chemical-insecticide free option to keep the bugs at bay. I am a big advocate of removing the chemicals in my home. Zevo uses a blue light technology to put the flies in a trance where they say “Bluuue liiiight.” And the next thing they know they are stuck to the Zevo like white on rice. Now I know it is supposed to work on flies but dang…within 24 hours an ant fell into the blue light trance too (see picture below).

And all you have to do is plug it in. And after 45 days or when the bugs gross you out just chill in in there you recycle the cartridge and pop in a new one. So easy.
