Bringing Back an Oldie but a Goodie

I went through a phase about 5 years ago when I was mosaicing everything in site. I haven’t pulled out my glass in years. My cousin from Ft. Wayne came down today for some creative time. She brought a vase-shaped piece of masonite with an acrylic holder glued on the back for us to mosaic. So I busted out my glass and I have waaaaaaay more than I thought I did. I decided to mosaic this for our guest bedroom. I chose pink and blue glass and my cousin chose darker blues, browns, and greens.

Here’s the back. You can get a cheap acrylic frame, drill a hole in it and caulk it onto the back.

Here it is hanging on the wall. I don’t like the flowers I chose. I am not really good at flower arranging. So what do you think? Give me advice on how to fill the vase. I feel like the size isn’t proportionate to the size of the vase.

Here they are in the room so you can see the colors and the size of it.

We also made some cute little gift bags out of 12×12 scrapbook paper. Here is the pattern if you are interested.

And here are a few pictures of my mosaic phase back in the day
