5 ways marble home decor

One of my latest projects involved lots of color, pattern, and some crazy messy fun.  These marbled picture mats were fun to make with oil paints and water and they add such a great mix of colors to my mini gallery wall.  When I posted this project, I mentioned that I used photo mats and cardstock for my marbled pictures, but I was sure you could use other surfaces as well, to enjoy this effect.

I was right!  I did a little looking and found some fantastic home decor ideas you can make yourself using similar marbling techniques.  Colorful marble textures are definitely the next big trend,  so I recommend trying out one of these quick and easy projects.  Enjoy!
