Teachers work hard all year, but the holiday season is a great time to show them how much we appreciate all they do! With varying levels of difficulty, these DIY projects will be fun for you to create and even more fun for teachers to receive!
Winter can be killer on our lips, so why not pamper those teachers with amazing EOS lip balm! This simple project – including the free printable – can be done quickly and will be something a teacher is sure to love!
How adorable would this be in a teacher’s classroom?! This great tutorial from Maison de Pax has some helpful hints for making your own chalk “slate.” You may end up wanting to make one for yourself too!
Sugar scrubs are a great gift! And they’re so simple to make! This peppermint sugar scrub tutorial even offers a free printable mason jar label.
Pull out your trusty vinyl cutter (I love my trusty Silhouette Cameo!) for this beautiful project! Your kid’s teacher will love this cute way to haul papers, books, and everything else between home and school!
We all know teachers deserve a break! Help them relax with this homemade heating pad. The tutorial at Alice & Lois is easy to follow, and it’s a perfect way to use up some fabric from your scrap bin.
Are you a teacher? What’s the best homemade gift you’ve received for the holidays?
Two great gifts I received as a teacher: One thoughtful mom went to a paint-your-own pottery store & bought a large platter. She brought in paint markers & had all the kids sign it, then took it back to be fired. Great keepsake! Another mom got a small photo album & placed a picture of each child, along with a hand-written note from each one. I still treasure that 10 years later. Teachers don’t always remember every face years later, but I do for that class!
What sweet ideas! Thank you so much for sharing!
