Fall foliage season is here! But those gorgeous autumnal colors don’t have to stay outdoors! Bring them inside – using real leaves or fakes – with these simple DIY projects.
1. Fall Leaves Mason Jar Candle Holder
This is a great way to use some of those freshly raked leaves from your yard! Grab a few mason jars, and make these autumn mason jar candle holders with this simple tutorial from Spark & Chemistry.
Who knew dollar store leaves could look this amazing?! With some glue and glitter, you can make this gorgeous garland in an afternoon. It could be the perfect addition to your mantle this season!
Another great way to use real leaves is simply to press and preserve them! Wit & Whistle shows us how easy it really is. And when they’re ready for use, choose a neutral frame and let the leaf’s natural beauty steal the show!
Use fake leaves to make this fall leaf wreath! The grapevine wreath is worth the price for this project, as it will help your leaves stay in place. Add in some fall gourds and pinecones, and you have the perfect fall accessory for your front door!
Metallic Sharpies and some of the pressed leaves you made from project #3 above are the perfect pair for this fall leaf project! Get the kids involved or just doodle on your own. And check out the Artful Parent’s tip on how to bring back the vibrant color of the leaves!
What’s your favorite way to decorate with fall leaves?
