In August I mentioned I participated in the 127 yard sale that runs from Michigan to Alabama. All along route 127 you can buy new-to-you treasures for your home. Krylon obviously understands the power of spray paint to transition something from rusty and old to vibrant and alive again. So they found 127 things and then spray painted them to now sell in the Pinterest yard sale to raise money for an organization called Charity Wings. Well they slashed the prices to sell the rest of the treasures. Check it out and get some great deals!
Along the 127 route I met up with some of my blogging friends and they created treasures with a simple can or two of spray paint. To see the afters of these amazing creations click on the picture to be directed to their blog.
Pam, from House of Hawthornes found this crusty old step stool. Most people would just end up tossing it before they would think of refinishing it. Click on the picture to see the after.
Kim from Reinvented found this old science desk. She knew is was a solid piece and could be transformed easily enough. Click on the picture to see the after.
Dacia from Lemon Drop Life found this folding screen that lacked luster with its blonde oak finish. Well she transformed it to something every mom could use. Click on the picture to see the after.
Tracy from At Home With Sweet T updated her fall porch with some simple projects and a can of spray paint.
If you missed my post I got this cruddy old clock that was destined to be destroyed in a landfill. But I saved it from its untimely death with a little spray paint and a little colored foil.
And a bonus 6th project is from Sarah from Simply Sarah Style. She found these $4 luggage racks that she gave a modern transformation to. Click below to see the after.
