Coral Painted Dresser

coral-painted-dresser

I am dying to find a dresser like this beautiful coral one that Destiny from A Place for Us painted.  It looks similar in shape to the yellow painted dresser I did for a friend.  The card catalog library pulls just makes me swoon.  This is Destiny’s debut project here on IC, so give her some love.  I know you will fall in love with her style like I did.

How to Paint Curtains

how to paint curtains

Painting plain curtain panels allows you to get the exact design and color you want.  I always seem to have a hard time finding curtains that I like.  I searched around looking for striped curtains. I was inspired by the Crate & Barrel Alston Panels for $99 a piece. So they were either way out of my price range or not long enough. I decided to customize some plain curtain panels from IKEA by painting gray stripes on them.  They look amazing and totally changed the look of my family room.
