I am a fan of jewelry. Not dainty, fine, pretty jewelry. But the big, gaudy, blingy kind. When it comes to earrings, the longer the better. And I adore dangly drop ones. I fell in love with the $48 Piccadilly Chandelier Earrings from Anthropologie. So when Michaels challenged me to ReCreate something I decided these pretty chandelier earrings would be just the right project.
We made some wannabe Take 5 candy bar bites. Have you ever had a Take 5 Candy bar? Oh my it ranks right up there with a Twix bar if you ask me- chocolate, caramel, peanut butter, pretzels and peanuts! I had those pretzel Rolo bites at a party last week and I was reminded how easy and yummy they are. Well I decided to kick those up a notch and make some Take 5 bites.
School has started, and I’m loving all the things my little guy brings home to show me at the end of every day. He writes his name on every one of them, and I just love seeing that. There’s just something so precious about seeing a child’s name written in wobbly letters. Names are a big deal.
I found this Love Tree Wall Art on Land of Nod. I have a friend having a baby girl and her nursery is midcentury modern with bright primary colors. I thought it be a cute shower gift to make her some modern art for the baby’s nursery. Using 7 different premium vinyl colors from Silhouette I was able to recreate this using my Silhouette Cameo.
