Altered Clipboard

So I decided to put my sandpaper and stain aside for a while and do some creating. I have seen these altered clipboards a few times and I have always wanted to try and make one. And today was the day. So I made a reminder board for our house. My sweet Aunt Cindy sent me an adorable pad of paper in a birthday package that picked up on the color scheme…wahla a masterpiece. And now I will never forget anything…at least today.

The back is actually my favorite part. I painted the entire board orange and then I painted blue over the orange. Then I sanded over the blue so some of the orange would peek through. Then I took some brown paint watered down and antiqued it. I love the Scrabble letters. I need to go rummage through Goodwill and find some more. Amanda..if you ever find any scrabble games less than $2 at any of the places you go (Value Village, Goodwill, garage sales) hook a sister up.

    Another Momism…….

Put a ball cap on my babycakes head when you take him out in the sun. Protect his skin and his eyes.

And it wouldn’t kill the two of you to take heed, as well…..
Beck! Quit rolling your eyes now!
