Tricia lives in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina home where she and her husband are raising their three boys. When she’s not working as a Neonatal Respiratory Therapist, she blogs about her DIY, organization and craft-making adventures at Simplicity in the South. Even as a little girl, Tricia knew she loved to decorate. In fact, when she was sent to her room for teasing her brother, it was hardly punishment. She would just spend her time redecorating her bedroom and dollhouse. Before marrying her husband, Tricia had lived in 25 different homes within 25 years. Her husband promised her they would settle themselves down in one home to raise their family and he’s kept that promise for 15 years. Tricia believes in making the most of the home that you are blessed with. Instead of moving on to what may be bigger and better, they are happy to make their own little home a haven for their family and a place that will bring their boys wonderful childhood memories. She chronicles her adventures in transforming their fifth house into a home on her blog aptly named, Our Fifth House.
