DIY Wood Magazine Files

Hello! I’m Shayna from The Wood Grain Cottage and I’m back to share another project! My husband, Anthony, and I recently decided we were going to spend more of our time, energy and attention to our home office. It wasn’t functioning well and I constantly felt like I was spending way too much time looking for something. Enter in our new scrap wood magazine files. They’re made entirely of scrap wood we had lying around the garage…

Here’s how we made them… We started with a leftover board, which Anthony cut at 12″ high for the front…

Magazine Filing Boxes He cut the piece for the back out of the same stuff, but only at 6 inches tall…

DIY Magazine File Boxes We used a clamp to keep everything in place…
