Sports are huge here in Indiana. I must say basketball rules this state but there are still plenty of soccer fans out there. I have a few friends whose kids are die hard soccer players. When I saw these Glittered Soccer Shapes at Michaels I knew a quick and easy project would be to make some soccer mom earrings.
I must say, I enjoy being a mom to a girl. Sans the drama and the whining – it can be so much fun. Kayla loves to primp and enjoys matching outfits (think Punky Brewster). So when I made her these bunny rabbit hair bows, as well as one to give a friend, she was ecstatic. So much so she even modeled for some pictures.
I love projects like this. It is just a way to add custom and personal to your walls. I love subway art for the same reason. Mod Podge is one of the most versatile mediums in my craft arsenal. It comes in a zillion different formulas and shine. The latest Mod Podge I got to try was the Image Transfer. Did you know you could use Mod Podge to transfer an image to fabric, wood, glass or virtually any other surface? I also added paint sticks to create a wood frame around it.
