Hi there again! I’m Shayna from The Wood Grain Cottage and I’m back to share another project with you. I don’t know about you, but I really love unique lighting that isn’t generic and can’t be found in every home. And because I have an obscene crush with farm related items, I really wanted to make a light out of an aged grain sieve. Problem was, the only grain sieves I could find were either really expensive or way too big. So, I took matters into my own hands and decided to make my own… all for around $20! I am seriously in love with the outcome…

DIY Decorative Wooden Arrows from Scrap Wood

Hey there!  It’s Carmel from Our Fifth House, and I’m back today to share a super simple and easy little DIY project.  These decorative, wooden arrows are fun to make and add the perfect amount of whimsy to a gallery wall.  I made them for my daughter’s room, but I think they’d be great in any space!  They’re so quick to whip up you could even create a whole wall of nothing but these fun arrows, which as side note would also be a great way to use up any leftover scrap wood you might have lying around your garage.
