Wayfair Thanksgiving Tablescape

Have you heard of Wayfair? It is an awesome site for home decor which definitely rivals the prices of Amazon.  I was recently turned on to it and have purchased several things on there already.  Their tagline is – a zillion things home.

Wayfair challenged me to create a tablescape with five of their items for the holiday season.  Here is what I was sent.

Romanesque Oval Platter, Achla Goblet Vase ($16.33), Ten Strawberry Street Gold Chargers ($92.52 for 12), Zodax Golden Treasures Ornaments ($61.99 set of 8), Corelle Impressions Sculpted 16 piece set ($47.99).

I started by putting a tablecloth over my 36” square table.  Then I added two handmade table runners to form an “x” on the table.  Then I laid the gold chargers and put the white dishes on top.  The ornaments were used as napkin rings…

and also as candle stands. I just stacked Dollar Tree circle glass bowls and added a tea light.

With the Achla Goblet vase I added stones, grass and moss to create a focal point for the table.

The platter would obviously hold a turkey but for now a pop of color is added with some mini pumpkins.

And there you have a gorgeous table setting perfect for a small intimate Thanksgiving meal.

If you don’t set a pretty table due to the number of people at your holiday party you could also use the same items and create a buffet-style tablescape.

Loop the ornaments around some decorative pumpkins and set the platter on a stand of create some height.  Instead of the small tealights add some taper candles.

Now the easy part is over, who wants to come and cook?
