We learned today at Ollie loves bright lights and he doesn’t even mind sleeping in trees! He is on another adventure and my kids couldn’t be more thrilled to have this little special elf with us for the twelve days before Christmas. Here is the note that was left outside my children’s doors today…
Good morning Isaac and Kayla. Isaac, I have loved seeing the Christmas tree in your room Isaac. It is so bright and you have so many cool ornaments on it. Plus, it reminds me of my home at the North Pole because we have lots of Christmas trees there. So, last night I decided to sneak into your room and borrow your tree for the night, since you were already asleep. It was so nice to be able to sleep in something that reminded me of my home.
Ok before you come down and find me let’s continue on with the story of the birth of Jesus…
Mary and Joseph are in Bethlehem and it is very crowded. All the rooms were taken. At last they found a stable and Joseph made a bed out of hay for Mary. There was animals all around them. I bet it was stinky in there. What do you think? Mary and Joseph started preparing for baby Jesus to be born.
