Fat-Free Icecream

Over a year ago I saw this on Confessions of a Ribbon Addict and I thought it was adorable. imageSince my cheapness won out I did not make one at the time. Then lo and behold I was at a yard sale earlier this summer and found a 6-pack new in the box and sealed for $2. I had to have it! IMG_0400I don’t have the cute stamps that she has but I played around with a friend’s Cricut machine and made tiny little popcorn boxes and filled them with paper shreds and then added the ice cream tubs to them.IMG_0402

IMG_0401 I love having some quick, easy, inexpensive but cute gifts around the house so when there is a need for some encouragement, a thank-you, or a ‘just-because’ I have something.

IMG_0399 And who can resist lip balm named Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Rainbow Sherbert, Rocky Road, Mint Chocolate Chip, Very Cherry Vanilla and White Chocolate Raspberry?

Sometimes it isn’t about the gift, but rather all about presentation!

you "played around" w/a friend's Cricut and got those cute boxes? I'm so impressed. I just got a Cricut and it's been hit or miss on my tries. I'll keep trying, tho. Love your project.

  10. Cute idea and those are super cute lip balms! Don't you just love being a woman… there are so many simple things that you enjoy. (Everything my hubs wants is techy and pricey). : (

That's great you keep stuff on hand for encouragement and whatnot. I usually have to run out and find something. Your's is a much better idea.

I agree…presentation can be everything…I just hate spending more on the presentation than the gift itself LOL. What a great yard sale find!

  12. Wow…I've never even heard of these. Do you know where you can buy them? Or is that in the link that I haven't clicked, yet? ;)

What a great idea just to have something around instead of running out to get something. I know anyone would love to have a little something from you! And the presentation is so fun! I've got to get thinking on that…Uggg you make me think so much!

Very cute! No, that's the way to package something. Make it look like icecream. Genius! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I just became a follower!

Those are SO cute! I love making the PRESENTation pretty too. This idea is just adorable and perfect. I haven't had "just because" or emergency gifts on hand in forever. I'm so glad you reminded me so I can keep my eyes open for stocking up. :)
