One of the things that I missed about the Midwest when we lived on the west coast was fall. Mind you, there was an October in the west also. But we didn’t get the beautiful hues of color with the leaves changing like we get out here. I mean we had some pretty yellows and greens back there. But nothing like the gorgeous oranges and reds we get out here. I love the changing of colors, the cooler evenings, the windy days with the sun shining, pumpkins, APPLES, cider, soups, and sweaters. It is the best season. Not to mention all those fall colors look fab on me

Awww, cmon now Becki, I have a beautiful red and orange tree in my yard right now. It just happens that the only way to see it is through the steady downpour. I think the big differenct is that the leaves come down so much quicker here because of the rain. I did notice in the picture of Isaac eating that you had your door open! And now he is sitting in the grass. He’d end up with a soggy bottom sitting in the grass here right now. I do love a dry fall, and it definitely doesn’t happen here that often. Enjoy the colors!
Ahhh, I agree with Trish. I think we have a beautiful fall. It’s just that it only lasts a week, and it’s pouring down rain! I did take it in while it lasted though. Someday I will go out east to witness all the beautiful colors of fall.
Ok maybe fall is such a blur I don’t remember it because it is so dang short!
ooooh beck, he’s starting to look like a little boy now…no more baby. I’m sad.
Isaac is such a cutie and getting so big! We do have pretty trees here in the fall, but I lived in New England in the fall several years ago and our colors here DO NOT compare! Part of that is because our evergreen trees don’t change and so we just don’t see as much color as the east coast does. It was pretty amazing!
Oh, and hello…seriously….no comment on my new page design. You sadden me =( But I love you =)
I remember a glorious time in Fall…4 years ago…5 friends, 1 road trip, many states, and many, many miles traveled. Lots of stories, prayers, apple cider, Japanese food, Dunkin Donuts, caramel apples, “Blessed Be the Name,” posing for pictures, Justin Timberlake, reliving life in the ‘Burg, online tutoring, giving Kelley U.S. driving lessons (in that old lady tank of a car!), lots of sex tips, and trying to talk you into having a baby…among loads of other things. Sigh…we must do it again. It was my favorite fall of all time, thus far. I love you and miss you!!!!
