I lost my glasses about a year ago and never replaced them. We now have vision insurance at our new church so I got new glasses. The optometrist told me that I had some damage to my eye from wearing contacts so much. She compared it to getting a cut and wearing a bandaid for a year. So basically my eyes are gross and prunelike…can we saw YUCKY!? So in order to reverse the damage I have to wear my glasses for a week. Supposedly the only thing that cures your eye is oxygen. So this is my new look. What do you think? Do I look like I am trying to act smart? For those of you who wear contacts only…give your eyes a break. You will miss them when I they are gone (I sound like my mom).
