Out With the Gals

So all the pastors on staff went to the Willow Creek Leadership Summit in Chicago for the week. So all of us wives are left behind so we decided to go out to eat for my birthday which was just a great excuse to get together if you ask me. We had a great time. I felt so at ease with these ladies. We just talked and laughed. I am really excited to be here. I think we will be a great fit on this staff and we are excited to partner with them to see people come to know Christ and grow in Him. Here’s my new partners in crime (left to right…Paula Butcher (her hubby was in charge of small groups before Tim came..he was in lay leadership), Jackie Anderson (lead pastor’s wife), Angie Rouse (Staff Director), Brenda Schnelle (Operations Director), Becky Glover (Director of Pastoral Care), Rachael Evans (Children’s Director), and me.Tomorrow Isaac and I are leaving for CHICAGO also for my 30th (gulp!) birthday. My sweet cousins are planning my birthday for me. I think we are going to get makeovers, have dinner and then go to a comedy club called Zanies. Here’s a picture of them…Lindsay and Stephanie….or is it Stephanie and Lindsay? Just kidding I can tell the difference. They are like sisters rather than cousins. Stephanie to the right just got married in May and Lindsay is engaged and will be getting married in April. Then on Sunday the whole fam is having a picnic. I love being this close to family.
